Weekend of Service

Who has ever heard of a church closing its doors on a weekend?  Grace did this past weekend for its 3rd annual Weekend of Service.

Over 3,800 gathered together as one body, spread out in our community in 175 project teams, participating at 100 locations over Saturday and Sunday. It was another amazing weekend of serving our friends and neighbors in need.

Leaves were raked for the elderly.  Food was collected for the hungry.  Walls were painted.  Bookshelves were built.  Trees were planted.  Because of our service, families at Good Samaritan will have food for Thanksgiving and Christmas; women who choose life for their unborn children instead of abortion will be showered with baby clothes and necessities; children at IPS school 58 now have uniforms and books on their library shelves.

Thanks to all who participated. You truly were the hands and feet of Jesus this weekend!
