TOMS Shoes

My second favorite featured speaker at the Summit was Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMS Shoes.  As fanatical as I am about shoes, I had never heard of them prior to this session.  But by the end of it, I was a huge fan.

TOMS is a for-profit company with a unique “One for One” business model that provides a new pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair sold.  To date, TOMS has encouraged conscious consumers to purchase and give more than 400,000 pairs of shoes to children around the world.

What’s better than that – getting a new pair of shoes AND giving a pair to a child in need.  I love it!
