How to Run

“Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” – Hebrews 12:1

Christ calls us to run with perseverance, which can be defined as “persisting in a state in spite of counterinfluences, opposition, or discouragement.”

We are not to run haphazardly, without purpose, or direction.  We are not to quit when “the going gets tough.”  We are not to let things “hinder” or “entangle” us.

We are to called to keep running, even when life gets tough and obstacles stand in our way.  We need to continue onward with a steady pace and the end goal in mind.  Unhindered.  With abandon.

Are you running with perseverance?
