Sesame Street

For 40 years now, Sesame Street has combined entertainment and education, making it the longest-running children’s program in the U.S.

Children around the world (literally) have grown up laughing and learning with characters like Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, and Mr. Snuffleupagus.

I have vivid memories of cheering on Super Grover, fearing the Count, crying when Mr. Hooper died, and singing along with Kermit in his famous rendition of “It’s Not Easy Being Green.”

Thanks for being part of my childhood, Sesame Street.  Happy 40th Anniversary!  🙂
