*Gasp…There’s Been a Murder!

Last month, my friends hosted a murder mystery party.  Over the course of the evening, we set out to pick up clues and eventually solve the case of who murdered Hal Coppone on those “doity” Chicago streets on that dark and stormy night in 1928.

We were given our character sketches ahead of time, so we were instructed to dress and act like our alter-egos for the evening.  I was Silky, a sleazy nightclub owner, whose reputation was less than spotless.  My friends caricatures had equally scandalous pasts.  And so, we began pointing fingers at each other – the professional baseball player, politician, newspaper reporter, flapper, night club singer, gambler, and golf pro.

After several rounds of accusing, arguing, defending, and questioning, it was revealed (unbeknownest to me) that I was the murderer.

…I always knew I had it in me. 😉

  1. We did that one last spring, too! And…after a LONG night, none of us figured out that it was Silky and we just gave up! But, it was a lot of fun! Can’t wait to see you soon!

  2. That’s so fun that you’ve done the same one! We all had our guesses at the end of the night, but none of us had it completely figured out.

    See you soon! 🙂
