“Are You Ready For Some Football?”
Tonight, the Colts will take on the Miami Dolphins in Monday Night Football.
It’s probably not a big surprise that I’m a Colts fan, seeing as how I’ve referenced them in no less than 3 blogs already.
I share this love of the Colts with my family. My Dad and Brother have season tickets. I must admit, I’m slightly (okay, insanely) jealous. Mom and I tagged along with them to a pre-season game, so it was a family affair. Hence, the picture.
I always wear my #4 jersey on game day. (So, naturally, I’m wearing it today at work.) If I don’t, the Colts are no doubt doomed to lose. And I can’t let a loss be on my shoulders.
You better believe that every game is already on my calendar, including February 7, 2010, the day of the Superbowl. Since they WILL be playing that day.
If I’m not at the game, I’m on my couch glued to the TV. I don’t miss one kickoff, one punt (though I’m still getting used to not cheering on Hunter), or one penalty. (Although, admittedly, I often do miss the explanation of the penalty since I’m pleading with whoever I’m watching with to kindly explain to me what just happened.)
And a game-watching experience with me would not be complete without a loudly belted, “Goooooo Adam!” prior to his every kick. (Adam Vinatieri is my favorite player, not surprisingly.)
All that being said, “Are you ready for some football?”
Go Colts! And “Goooooo Adam!” 🙂
