Learning Styles

walk_the_talkI recently attended a training conference where we studied how adults learn.  According to Knowles/Vella, adults absorb:

20% of what we see
40% of what we see AND hear
80% of what we do

If we apply this to religion, we can preach, draw diagrams, and show videos all we want, but most people will “learn” our faith by watching what we do.

St. Francis of Assisi put it this way, “Preach the gospel at all times; when necessary, use words.”

Do you preach the gospel at all times?
