A Lack of Change

stock-marketIt has been said that, “Nothing is constant but change.”

It’s true.  The stock market is rarely steady.  Athletes are traded to different sports teams.  The price of gas fluctuates multiple times a day.  And if you don’t like the weather in Indiana, stick around for a few minutes…because it too will change.

Isn’t it nice to know that even though we live in a world of uncertainty, our God remains the same?

As Mark Schultz sings in Lord, You Are (from the album Broken and Beautiful),“Lord, You are the Living One, the Holy Lamb, the Son of God, the Son of Man who always is, who always was, who’s always gonna be.”

Now that’s a lack of change that I can and do believe in.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” –Hebrews 13:8
